Our first time at Foursquare Connection! It was great to spend time receiving and being poured into by God alongside a couple thousand other pastors and church servants from all around the world. It reminded me that those of us who do ministry week in and week out, year after year, are not alone. We have a whole worldwide family who are all in for 1 goal…to lead people to Jesus 💒 can’t wait to bring everyone along next year in Anaheim! #foursquareconnection #foursquarechurch
God is the ONLY explanation for all that transpired last week in Orlando.
What an honor it was to lead with this amazing bunch and it was extremely humbling and awe-inspiring to see how the Lord put all the pieces of the puzzle together from the band (it was our first time playing together), the worship sets (without knowing the messages in advance the Holy Spirit seamlessly wove it all together), and the family aspect of the band and the people at #FoursquareConnection made it feel like a huge family reunion.
Thank you imuagarza itiffa_ kamusing chris_sanders808 richiepena zhartgraves for saying yes to the “call” (and you too korydmiller for jumping on that last set with us)…couldn’t have asked for a better bunch to do this alongside and thank you wearefoursquare for the opportunity and honor to be a part of this.

I’ve had a few days for it to sink in, and it is starting to feel real. On June 2nd, I became an Ordained Pastor in the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel.
“But, Merrick,” you may be asking, “You’ve been a licensed pastor since 2018.” You’re right! Ordination in our movement means that there is a recognized life-long calling to ministry on my life. It’s a big deal, a serious responsibility and the realization of a childhood dream.
I was ordained at our #Foursquareconnection event in Orlando (some of you know that detail was like an extra present from God), surrounded by and prayed over by some of my most favorite people in the whole world. And bonus, m4rri was right next to me getting the same honor!
